What is a A Wellness Provider?
Wellness Providers are our team of South African Educated and Licensed Therapists who are selected and screened through our process on our visits to South Africa.
What kind of qualifications to Wellness Providers Have?
Our wellness providers come from professional backgrounds in psychology, counseling, social work, and relevant wellness fields. They hold advanced degrees and have completed extensive training through internationally respected programs, including leading institutions in South Africa.
Elephant in the Room: Why Not Call Them Therapists?
Our professionals are licensed therapists in South Africa with extensive training, experience, and qualifications.
However, because they are not currently licensed in the United States, we’re unable to legally refer to or market them as “therapists” within the U.S. Instead, we use the term “wellness provider” since they are not yet registered as Therapists in the US.
Flexibility
Questions we often get asked
Does this mean my session needs to be at 2am?
No, we have flexible scheduling to accommodate to your personal schedule — whether that means daytime, evenings, or even 2am.
How do I know if they'll be the right fit for me?
Our Intake Coordination team will take the time to understand your needs, preferences, and goals, and help match you with a provider who is the right fit for you.
What if I don't connect with my Provider?
We’re glad you said something!
Our Coordination team understands that providers are not one-size-fits-all, and we’ll work closely with you to find someone who is the right fit for your needs.
How long are Sessions?
Sessions generally last 60 minutes, with flexibility based on your needs and preferences.
